Hazardous Materials Awareness Level Class

January 12 & 19, 2012

Ward 8 Fire District #2 (Lebleu Settlement) 6443 Hwy. 3059 will host a Hazardous Materials Awareness Level Class that will start on Thursday, January 12, 6:00pm to 10:00pm, and continue on Thursday, January 19, 2012, 6:00pm to 10:00pm Students need to attend all classes to receive information that will assist them with preparation for the IFSAC Certification Test. .

This class will provide the student with the knowledge to respond to Hazardous Materials Incidents in an Awareness Level capacity. Student must attend all classes to receive all of the material that will be presented. This will also help the student in their preparation to take the Haz-Mat Awareness Level IFSAC certification from LSUFETI.

There is no cost for the class but it is recommended that student have the IFSTA Hazardous Material for First Responders 3rd Edition book.
